We started our Black Hereford herd back in September of 2014 with the purchase of a Black Angus Bull to put over our Registered Red Polled Hereford Cows.
For the last 6 or 7 years, we have improved our genetics and knowledge of the breed only to better improve the breed itself.
Random alignment is a fascinating part of genetics but seeing the outcome is something that never grows old. Heterosis adds more than vigor and monetary gain, it adds the best of both donors, the ones you chose with purpose and for meaning that they put to fruition.
